I fished my local trout stream again for a few hours thim AM and caught 5 more native brookies. Water was much higher than its been. Fished over 1 trout for close to 2 hours. He looked to be bigger than any trout I have caught here before ( 14 inches or so). I had him look hard at my flies a half dozen times, but no real takes. Every time I would get ready to leave, he would poke his head out again. Never did get him. There were mayflies starting to come off as I left- I bet this afternoon would be great for hatches
