Little Wilson Falls

I ran across this place again when looking for a pond last week and It looked like a great place to take the family. There was a waterfall, and a swiming hole, and even a rope swing. The water was COLD!!!!! We spent the day swimming, hiking, and made lunch and supper on our new Coleman grill

Kim, Joe and I headed out somewhere in search of HEX
Joe had the hot fly...caught about 10 brookies...a couple of 15-16 inchers...Dave had a hook up and I got skunked!!!

It was a beautiful hike and nice mucky pond but the Hex decided not to show

July 4 At Camp

Spent the day with the family out to Stetson pond for the forth. We did manage to get a little bit of fishing in.

Pond Fishing July 3

I went fishing at another northern pond with my father in law on Thursday. We had preaty much non-stop action for most of the day for 7 to 8 inch brookies. Of course there was driving rain and whipping wind, and as usual I did stupid things like throw out my anchor with the rope not tied, and break my rod tip. However, it was still a very fun day!! Not much beats a day on a brookie pond in Maine!!!
