Labor Day Weekend
Trish, Rhiannon, Alisha, Brian, and I spent the weekend at Omaha Beach camping for the weekend. We also had appearences from Matt and Katie; and Al Traci, and Emily.
We did a little fishing by the Beach, but only caught chub and white perch. I also did a little fishing up river and got some small salmon and a 13" brookie. The last 2 days the wind got brutal and drove off most of the campers, but not us, although I thought our tent was going to rip apart. Brian and Alisha paddled over to the Ice caves, but Trish and I never made it. The highlights of the trip were paddling over to within 20 feet of a feeding moose, buying a new pontoon boat at a yard sale, and a game of tackle frisbe that left half of us bleeding!

Rhiannon is in the kayak with Dave!!
Baxter is exhausted...digging in the sand, fetching sticks, and chasing after Rhiannon is so tiring, he would fall asleep on the tree roots!

The Junction
Trish, Alisha, Brian and I, with some other assorted delinquents, Spent the weekend camping at The Junction in Brownville. They have a big stage where they have evening concerts there, and over the weekend we saw Livin on a Prayer- a Bon Jovi tribute, and Mamakin- an Aerosmith tribute band. Friday night - Livin on a Prayer was very good, but the rain all day kept the crowd small. Saturday was nice, we played frisbe football, whiffle ball with some of the neighbors, and the girls went swimming. That night Mamakin played to a full campground.
