My Home Stream

Spent a few hours this morning on my local trout stream. Water was a little high, but not too bad. Turned out to be a nice morning for fishing- no rain, no mosquitos, not too cold. Got 3 little wild brookies, al of them on a blurple wooley bugger.

Airline Brooks

I took a ride down the airline to check out 4 brooks I used to fish as a kid. 1 was posted, 2 were really high, but the last one looked to be ok. Fish a couple hours and did land 1 little guy. Still too much of that @&!@# white stuff in the woods. Ice was totally gone on Davis pond in Eddington, but Parks Pond wa about 90% covered still.

We had some time to kill before the Disney show, so we spent a couple hours at the children's museum which was only a short walk away

We arrived at the holliday in in Portland for the weekend to see the Disney on Ice show right accross the street!

Opening Day

Got out for a couple hours to my fav. trout stream this afternoon. After drfting a small black Wolly Bugger a couple dozen time, Mr. brookie decided to take a swipe. He missed. So I put it there again and he didn't miss twice. Little 8 incher. My first ever April 1st brookie!!!
