Sightfishing for Sunfish

Trisha left Rhiannon and I home alone Sunday, So I decided to take her out for a cookout and a little fishing. First we went to the picnic area at mud pond for some lunch. We saw some exciting things like a dead perch and a seaplane land!!!




After lunch we hiked into the dam at Pushaw Lake.


We caught some sunfish, and then threw some rock in the water and generally just had a good time!!

Local stream, last time

I went out to my local stream for 1 more time this year. The fish were there, but the big guys seemed a little pickier than in years past. Still a great morning. Water was very low!!

Spent the weekend in the Rangeley Area with some guys from Maineflyfish.com. The following are taken from that website.

Spent the weekend with the gang in Rangely. Russ ,Karl and their wife's Dennis, Kim and Dave had a great time.Thanks to everyone for their part especially want to thank Russ for cheffing it up all weekend the food was great. Hope we can do it again in the following seasons. Fished Upper dam, Kennebago, Magalloway since its not been my destination and still learning the area I thought I did pretty well. Kim landed the fish of the weekend I'm sure pics will follow.Thanks again guys

Had lots of fun. I only caught a few small brookies but got a chance to see and recon some water I've never been to. Over all some hard fishing but definitely worth it.
Great getting to fish and hang out with everyone. Here are my pics and the brookie of the weekend. Drew, if I was his guide I think I'm owed some fees, especially since I have the only pictures to prove it.

What a great weekend!!!!! Had a great time fishing with all you guys, and eating Russ's cooking!!!!!! The fishing was slow at times, but overall its still ok. The Megalloway was a gorgeous river, plus I love fishing that pocket water. Unfortunately I was downriver and never got to see Kim's awesome brookie.
